Red eye look

I love this look. The only thing I'd change is my lashes. I need to start using an eyelash curler again to tidy things up.
The eyeshadow is from my 88 eyeshadow palette from Coastal Scents. I used a grey eyeliner rather than black so it wouldn't be too intense. Black works really well and looks more vampy. I just wasn't feelin it! The red is a liquid liner from Nouba. I love the range of bright colours they have and they're reasonably priced (around €10).

Korean cosmetics

I spent a year in Korea and it was amazing! I am soooo jealous of Korean women! Not only are they really gorgeous but they get to make-up shop for cheap!! Like super-cheap! I still managed to spend soooooooo much money though! Ooops!

Excuse the shitty pictures. My camera is so cute but it sucks! Anyway, here are some of my favourite Korean buys:

I loved eyeshadow shopping! Especially in Toda Cosa. They have every colour! VOV Color Song is fake Mac at a ridiculously low price and in a bajillion colours! I say fake Mac because they've ripped off at least 3 of my Mac eyeshadows to a t, though not the two pictured here. The other ones are all half used up and broken.

They also sell lots of different coloured eyeliners-yay!!!

Skin Food also sell AMAZING shadows of really high quality and in FAB colours!!

Etude House sell my favourite mascara 'Black x Black', great everyday eyeliners and also gorgeous lipsticks that act more like a balm and have really cute packaging.

Another fab version of a big-name cult product is this one:

The Secret is a GREAT fake Benefit Moonbeam highlighter and really cheap!

There are lots of discount shops etc thst sell things like accessories, clothes, stationary etc and also carry cheap-as-chips lashes like Darkness or Echo. They cost prob a quarter of the price you'd pay at home!

Also a must-buy are the sheet masks that are everywhere. In fact you usually get one free with most purchases. My favourite are the Mamonde Nourishing and Brightening ones.

Seriously, some of the best makeup is Korean!!! Cheapness and variety count for a lot but the general quiality really shocked me! I miss it!!!

Life is fab!

So happy!! Life is great. There are things I could try to complain about but there is no point! I am damn lucky! Look at Haiti, look at the world! There are so many people in shitty-ass situations! I have no excuse to be negative! I am so thankful for all the wacky and wonderful things that have come my way! <3 Peace and love!

Hola habibis!!

Figure if I put it in writing it might motivate me a little! I want to lose weight!! I have been letting it seak up fro too long and making excuses. It is now time to make a change! I will not be making any drastic alterations to my diet because that will just result in an epic FFFAAAIIILLL and I don't like to fail so gonna take it easy enough; do some walking, stop skipping breakfast, cut MAJORLY down on my pizza intake and drink less beer and more wine. If I can do that then I'll up the ante in a few weeks when I'm more ambitious and less cold and therefore seeking out all kindsa comforts!

Wanna be back to a UK 12 by Summer. I'm a big 16 now and shopping sucks ass!

Ok so just putting that out into the big bad cyber world!!!

Happy 2010

How crazy that it's a new decade!! Love it! A little scary as this is my decade of mid 20s to mid 30s! :O Which means in 10 years I'll hopefully be a 'proper' adult! haha! I don't think you're ever a 'proper' adult or if you are you shouldnt know that cos it probably means you've stopped having fun!! Hmmm....

So Christmas was lovely. Was so great to have 3 weeks at home with my lovely parents and crazy sisters. Very much a love/hate thing with our family but the love is real! Not going to write about it but here are a couple of pictures. We drank a lot, there was snow and turkey and I got my 88 eyeshadow palette and a FAB Nouba red liquid liner as well as some gifts from people other than myself! haha

Had a fun journey back. Weather was terrible and roads were awful so we came to Dublin the night before (drinking on the train up :) )and stayed in Bewleys which was convenient, cheap and comfy. Got out of Dublin ok in the afternoon; only a 20 minute delay. In Madrid Barajas airport I'm almost sure I saw a dude from my home town. Weird!

We dumped our bags in the bus station lockers and headed into TGI's on the Gran Via for cocktails and food and to perv on the hot waiters! Ate entirely too much and our waiter (not one of the one's I was checkin' out) brought down the bill and said how he wanted to improve his English (mmm hmmm). Tried to tell him we live 4 hours away but he didnt understand (he really coulda used the improvement, haha) and asked for my number. Was so embarassing because it was pretty obvious and the place was SO busy. He didnt have a caer in the world and he was the one working and his managers were like 5 feet away!! Didnt give him my number but gave him my email address cos he was so persistant! Cringe!!

Then we went to drink some wine- beautiful but quadruple the price of our local up North! In this bar we met a girl from our hometown in Ireland! But of course!! The world is too small sometimes!

Finally got the bus back. Got into our apartment at 5 am to find taht the landlady had been in cleaning and had, get this, washed all our clothes and bed sheets. My Goddamned sheets were clean and I dont need you man handlin' my creamy knicks! haha! They weren't creamy, I swear! But still... gross!! I've been washing my own clothes 10 years. I dont need Supergran swooping in pokin through me grundy undies and stinky socks!!

The worst part was the redecoration she had done. She added 2 more posters to my room; Hannah Montana and Camp Rock. Was freaked out enough with Audrey Hepburn staring at me while I slept and the solar system picture is just crappy! >:(
It sucks cos she obviously thinks she's helping and she's really old and has too much energy. There'd be zero point in trying to tell her to change her ways! Guess I gotta live with this invasion and hope that next time I go away, I don't come home to a framed picture of Zac Efron or some shit!!
