I am such a saddo! I love grocery shopping! I just spent €40 today on food that may not even do me the week! Ha!

Got my hair done again. I'm loving the blonder me! I didn't think my hair would lighten so much because it's like one shade from jet black but apparently it can take some bleach!! :D

I'm still rocking my size 14. Pretty sure my weight is in or around 12 stone. I haven't been at the gym because my membership ran out. Did a few circuit training classes in between but haven't been working out properly in a month so will hopefully re-join next week.Eating has been ok- most days I'm cooking with eggs, chicken, noodles or rice and lots of veg although I've had some naughty weekends/hangover days!Yummy salt/chilli chicken with peppers, garlic and spring onion! mmmmm

My first nephew was born almost a week overdue and weighing in at a generous 8lb 8oz. He's called Finn and he's now 2 weeks old. I'm going to Dublin to see him on Wednesday and I can't wait. While I'm down the South end of the country I'm gonna visit some other relations. My aunt's been at me for ages to visit her in Wexford. My cousin's son is a year and a half old and I'm dying to see him. Plus it'll be nice to get out of town. My cousin and his girlfriend are taking me out Saturday night- yay!
Didn't do anything special for Valentine's day. We had an impromptu gathering at our place on Saturday. We drank Cava and went to the pub. Fun!

Five over-rated things

1.)Ketchup- ew.... just...ew!
2.)Going shopping with friends. Don't get me wrong! I love my friends.... I love clothes.... I don't even mind shopping most days... but watching over people trying on clothes, browsing in shops I don't rate, picking up the same thing as someone else, dealing with other people neurosis' while I want to cry over nothing fitting ME..... no thanks! Luckily everyone I know feels the same! Ha! When you want to try on 10 dresses (often the same style in a variety of sizes, colours and lengths) you don't want to feel guilty for the person outside. When you want to bitch and moan about your fat ass/ big belly/ lack of boobs/ lack of hips./ whatever, maybe you shouldn't. It doesn't usually make you feel any better and it isn't much craic to listen to!
3.)How I Met Your Mother. It's just another reworked Friends working towards the most annoying climax. Why do we even care who the kids' mother is? All the characters know! Only thing that'd impress me is if it turns out to be Barney....... or Susan Boyle!
4.)MAC. Yes, I still fork out occassionally but I can't justify owning a shit-load at their prices. After years of make-up shopping, I know that expensive doesn't necessarilly equal quality.
5.)Kim Kardashian's ass. I'd love to have a J-Lo style bum but Kim's just looks fake. She's had everything else tweaked so I totally believe those implant rumours!

What's in my cupboard?

My gym membership is up and I've been too busy/ poor to renew. Have been to 3 circuit training classes though and they are tough going!
I have no idea where I am weight-wise- I'd say around 76ish hopefully! Clothes are fitting well generally and I'm feeling good.
Today was ridiculous though- I ate copious amounts of chocolate and popcorn for no good reason! I suspect it's because it's coming to 'that time of the month'! I learned I can't keep large amounts of chocolate in the house! And we went to the cinema so a huge tub of popcorn was a necessity!) Eurgh! I feel superbly ill now! Still, I've been doing well so won't sweat the extra 1000 calories or so ! ( :O )
In the mean-time, have a look in my cupboard. My posts have been boring so I thought some randomness might be interesting!

Bottom shelf: salt, herbs, seasonings (most commonly used= chilli flakes, black pepper), honey, soy sauce, stock cubes, malt vinegar, eggs, baby potatoes, chilli, garlic, soup mix, cornflour, extra- virgin olive, sesame and veg oil, low cal olive oil spray... oh and random Curly Wurly bars
Middle: soup mix, black bean sauce, egg noodles, wholemeal pasta and spaghetti, brown rice, basmati rice, rice cakes, pecans, pizza base mix, stir-in pasta sauce, curry sauce, low salt beef gravy, low cal chicken soup, tinned pink salmon, crunchy sugar-free peanut butter, salt and vinegar Snack-a-Jacks
Top: Pasta sauce, soy sauce, apple juice(for mixing into smoothies), 41 calorie/slice wholemeal bread, Time Out bars, brown pasta, egg noodles, plain flour
