Noisettes - Never Forget You

I love a bit of retro and I also love The Noisettes. When I first heard this particular song I thought it was a cover. I love how it's somehow modern but just sounds like a total classic. Oh and girl-crush alert! She's just too cool!

Sunday Night, Monday Afternoon.

Here are some pictures from my night out with family and friends on Sunday. I didnt take any face ones before so I basically recreated the same look the next day. On the first day I wore Eucalyptus and Strawberry Milk. The next day, I substituted Louisiana for Strawberry Milk. On my eyes, I'm wearing Revlon Colorstay eyeshadow in Champagne. Foundation is MUFE HD. CHeeks= Coralista. The weather has been fab since I've come home! Long may it last eh?! :)

Home Sweet Home

Yay! I'm back in Ireland! Summer holidays from school so there wasn't much point hanging about in Spain! Glad to be home, even if I'm majorly worried about finances.
At the airport I finally bought the Loreal Lash Renewal Serum which I'd been eyeing up for months but refused to pay €20. At the airport I got it for €13. :) I also bought Urban Decay Primer Potion for €11 which was a great bargain especially seeing as I love the stuff! I also had a lipstick package from Ebay
- 6 NYX lippies for €13 including delivery. :)I'll do lip swatches later as I have St Tropez on now so I look filthy!
Going out for dinner with my family and Edel's family tonight as a welcome-home get-together. Yummy Chinese food! :)

Essence

As much as I love high end cosmetics, I cant justify using them exclusively. There are plenty of cheap alternatives on the market. It's trial and error with cheaper brands but there are some great cheapies available. Essence is a brand I've had some luck with. I use their foundation for day wear and at around a fiver a pop, it's a real winner. Yesterday I bought two of their glosses (€1.99 and €2.29) and a bronzer (€3.49) and they're great value for money. I have to say, the bronzer is more of a highlighter- it's not incredibly pigmented but it's very pretty. The pictures are shitty but ya get the idea.

I love Violet

Yesterday, I bought Thierry Mugler Violet Angel. I'm in love with it! Went for a purple theme in keeping with the perfume! Used Fyrinnae Loose Shadows, MAC Myth and Shy Girl with Essence Secrets of the Past gloss in Flowerfields! My necklaces are from Primark and my dress is from Lefties-total bargain at €9.

88 palette strikes again!

I used dark yellow and 3 shades of purple from the 88 Ultra Shimmer palette for this look. Lips are Shy Girl by MAC. Cheeks are Coralista by Benefit. Any questions, please comment.
